New York Live Arts, the organization formed by a merger of the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company and Dance Theater Workshop retained DXA studio to reconfigure two dance studios and install a moveable, acoustical partition at their shared wall. When the wall is open two 1,250 SF studios are joined to create one 2,500 SF performance space. Supporting spaces to the studios were reconfigured, and an exterior wall of bamboo was added to frame views from the studios.
